As a mom of three boys, I know that perfection isn't what you'll miss years from now. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and centered around connection, creating images that bring you back to how this season of life felt. We'll capture the smiling-at-the-camera photo, but it's the in-between moments that become the favorites.

I'm Brittany, family and motherhood photographer in Mesa, Arizona, and creator of this space: Portraits by Brit.
I have a passion for photography that spans from the time I was a little girl! My grandma and grandpa always had the newest gadgets in their house, and one thing they always had were cameras - I have all the cameras they ever bought on display in my house! They made sure I always had my own camera, too.
I never had a fancy camera until I grew up, thinking that because I missed taking photography in junior high and high school that I had missed my shot at becoming GOOD. When I learned that wasn't the case, I started practicing anywhere and everywhere. I finally took the leap and launched my own photography business, and I hope you'll stick around!
Nothing is more important than family, connections, and capturing all those moments and every moment in-between. I focus on natural light, connection, and an eye for the tiny details to create nostalgic images that you’ll want to come back to again and again.
