While I don't photograph sunrise sessions very often, every time I do, I'm reminded why they're so magical. This Superstition Mountains sunrise family session was the perfect example of everything I love about photographing families in the early morning.
As the sun began to rise over the mountains, the desert was filled with the softest pastel colors. The light was gentle, the air was cool, and a layer of mist settled over the Superstition Mountains, creating one of the dreamiest backdrops I've ever photographed.
It was one of those mornings that makes waking up before sunrise completely worth it!
