I don't think there is a bigger compliment as a photographer than having your own family choose you to document the important moments in their lives. As a family photographer in Mesa, Arizona, lifestyle newborn sessions are some of my absolute favorites, so getting to photograph my sweet in-laws and cuddle my brand-new niece was extra special.

And because the light is so beautiful, I can focus on the most important part of the session—capturing this sweet baby and all of the connection surrounding her.

Even though we were photographing in a studio, I wanted this session to feel relaxed and connected rather than overly posed.
