A Winter Family Session in Flagstaff, Arizona

As a Flagstaff Arizona family photographer, making sure my clients feel comfortable throughout their session is incredibly important to me. That includes respecting each family's wishes about how and where their photos are shared online.

This sweet family let me know right away that they did not want their daughter's face shown online, but they were completely comfortable with me sharing images where her face wasn't visible. Of course, she proceeded to stare directly at me for almost every single photo! 😂

I love that for them—but it definitely means I don't have quite as many images from this gorgeous session that I can share.

And when I tell you this session was STUNNING, it was absolutely stunning.

Snowy Family Photos in Flagstaff

This winter family session in Flagstaff was one of those sessions where the scenery did so much of the work for us. The snow-covered landscape created the most beautiful backdrop, and the entire session felt peaceful and magical.

There is something so special about photographing families in the snow. The soft white landscape creates a clean, timeless look, and the muted winter colors make the connection between family members really stand out.

These snowy family photos in Flagstaff are some of my favorites, even though I can't share as many of them as I normally would.

I absolutely love photographing Flagstaff family photos in the snow because winter gives us such a different look from the desert sessions I photograph throughout the rest of Arizona.

The snow-covered trees, soft winter light, and beautiful mountain scenery make Flagstaff such a special place for family photos. Add in a sweet family who is willing to embrace the cold, and you have the perfect recipe for a beautiful session.

Even though I'm only able to share a handful of these images publicly, trust me when I say there were SO many good ones.

It's becoming more and more common for parents to choose not to share their children's faces on social media or publicly on the internet, and I completely respect that decision.

When you book a session with me, my questionnaire specifically asks whether you're comfortable with your images being shared online. You get to decide what you're comfortable with, and I will always respect your answer.

You never have to share your family's photos publicly just because you've hired a photographer.

And if you're comfortable with some images being shared but not others, that's completely okay, too. We can work within whatever boundaries make your family comfortable.
