As a Scottsdale Arizona newborn photographer, I love getting to see how everyone decorates their nurseries! This one was probably one of my very favorites. These parents love the outdoors, so they created a woodland theme with a midcentury modern vibe, and I was OBSESSED.
The wood tones, beautiful colors, and all the cute little woodland creatures made the nursery feel so cozy and unique. I love when a family's personality comes through in the little details, and this room was such a perfect reflection of them!

Scottsdale In-Home Newborn Photography With a Personal Touch
One of my favorite things about Scottsdale in-home newborn photography is getting to document families in the spaces they've created for their babies. The nursery, the cozy corners, and all those little details you spent time choosing become part of your family's story, too.
For Oliver's session, we photographed him in his beautiful nursery and captured all those sweet newborn details alongside moments with his family. These are the kinds of things I love looking back on—the tiny features, the meaningful spaces, and the details that make each family's story different.
Lifestyle Newborn Photography in Scottsdale
Baby Oliver broke his leg during birth, so he had a little cast during his newborn session. I wanted to make sure we documented him just as he was while also being mindful of his comfort.
We got creative with his photos! Sometimes we tucked the cast out of sight, sometimes we covered it with a blanket or swaddle, and sometimes we let it have its moment.
I love that we were able to get a variety of images while keeping Oliver comfortable. Newborn sessions don't have to look one specific way, and there is no need for everything to be perfect or go exactly as planned.
